Sometimes it takes a while for pros to pick a hero up. It's all about trends and what the meta favours (push, teamfight, skirmish, farming).

Again, I'm not saying that SingSing can't play Mirana, but I don't agree with the notion that teams are denying C9 from picking it. Heck, if teams felt that Mirana is so core on C9 then they can mind game them and let Batrider through the first round of bans and pick him up, arguably the most sought after hero in the current meta with a near 100% ban/pick rate.

Mirana is just strong in the current meta and teams value that.

Hehe the new patch nerfed bat. No more leaving the offlane to go jungle the blink. I think he's gonna be played mid again.

Then you obviously don't want enough games. Certain teams only play Mirana against C9. You won't find Mirana in any of their other matches.

I've also seen teams ban and block pick so many Sing heroes that he ends up as rhasta or something weird.

Please don't bring personal stuff into this like how many games a watch. I might not watch them live since I don't have the time but I watch the vods later.

I direct you to this image made by reddit user Intolerable gAPBDPN.png. It's the competitive hero tier list for May 2014. As you can see, Mirana is top tier material, having a 80.3% ban/pick rate, with a 56% win rate, the same win rate as Batrider. I doubt 80% of the past months games have been versus C9.

Just to drive my point home, Mirana got nerfed in 6.81b. Short range arrows are now worse. The hero was too good.

Datdota doesn't seem to have pick/ban so just gonna have to take your word on it.

So EG kicked DK's butt in the Summit, was an epic 5 game match.

Can't wait for the TI4 finals to start :(

Try to avoid posting spoilers. While I have watched the games I'm sure there are others that haven't and would like to do so at a later stage.

Yeah, the competition at this years TI will be cutthroat.

Btw Kuroky can't cast to save his life. Could hardly hear what he mumbled.

To each his own. I think Kuroky was one of the better co-casters. His insight was legit.

Almost at the $10 Million mark :D

Wonder how much of that goes towards the winning team, runners up etc etc

If I recall correctly the winning team takes home half. That means $1mil per player in the winning team with a $10mil prize pool.

Epic, one can definitely become a full time player once you hit that jackpot lol

Have to wonder how it will look within the next 5 years or so, how much more can the prize pool really grow!

I reckon it can grow some more. As more and more people join in.

I am considering opening a Bar with big screens showing highlights of matches, or live matches all over the place. Think someone has done something similar in CT.

There is a BarCraft somewhere in CT, AFAIK.

Yea that is serious money and it gets bigger and bigger each year. I remember how people were laughing at the stretch goals of $8mil saying it was pointless to add them as they would never be reached and just look at the prize pool now. Next year is going to be even scarier.

Also not to forget, due to the extraordinary "donations" from compendium, we will have to opportunity to finally play Techies soon after TI4 finals, can't wait :D

Where can I find out what Compendium is? Like the basics. I bought one for $9, got some cards and a ticket and stuff. I have no clue what to do with it or how to grow it. I see mine doesnt get bigger.

Hahaha.

Open it in game.

Make pics and predictions. Do the daily challenges.

In the compendium itself it tells what perks you get on what level.
