What is the bet that the Immortals III's are going to drop at the end of this week? I say this because I will be away from tomorrow morning until Sunday evening.

What do you guys think of the latest announcements and updates on Source 2 etc?

I must say, the new UI is looking really good!

Highly doubt it, my guess is next week friday.

It looks awesome, really looking forward to the update!

Had a great game as WD last night :D His ulti is awesome if the enemy team likes to bunch up together :D

Most Ults go through BKB actually. Lina's needs Ags scepter to go through BKB.

The best defence against Witch Doctor Ult, besides Ghost Scepter of course, is armour. So someone on the team should build Vlads and or Assualt Curriass.
 
Seeing there are many experienced heads here I'd like to ask how do you stop a decent Dusa player? Had several games recently where the Dusa has dominated completely, granted my team was pretty poor on mist occasions.

Aim to finish the game early. Late game (40+ minutes into the game or so) she becomes difficult to beat. Ultimately with a Medusa you're aiming to drain her mana away because that is where her durability comes from. So for carries an Antimage or a good diffusal blade carrier like a Phantom Lancer should make short work of a Medusa in the mid game. Supports like a KoTL help somewhat with Manaleak but by far one of the most useful is Lion with all those disables and that lovely Mana Drain.

If you're aiming for an early finish heroes like Undying, Leshrac, and maybe a Gyocopter are great for grouping up early and snowballing out of control thereby preventing the Medusa from getting enough farm to be a serious threat.

The group still remains rather tight though :(

Part 3 (Beta) is out, download your client from the DLC window in Steam, or launch the game (update required) and click on the Play Dota 2 Reborn button under the "play" tab
 
You can now pick your favourite team and player in the compendium.
 
5.5GB update this morning :O

Add that to the 7GB downloaded yesterday for the reborn beta client and dota is starting to become very expensive on data...

Yeah I wanted to download the reborn beta client yesterday, saw that it was 7GB, cancelled download... :(
 
Couldn't be bothered with anything beta at this stage, will rather wait for the final release.

Reckon the Immortal III's will be released closer to the end of the month, valve would like to drain your paycheck once more :p

Soooo that means either Thursday or Friday next week, leaning towards Thursday myself.

Tried the beta out last night, we don't have servers... So bugger that will stick to vanilla for now.

Meh, won't be upping my compendium any further. Although that purple icon at 500 looks good.
