The SK and the sniper literally farmed for 50 minutes, then moaned that I wasn't initiating and CM wasn't buying enough wards and laughing at us when we died etc. The frikken CM almost did the same amount of damage as the WK who had Deso,mkb,bkb, SY... We won but it was no fun at all. /rant over

Yip but we needed WK in the fights to soak damage and he was off in the jungle...300+ last hits without a battle fury. We should have ended the game after 30min but they didn't want to push just farm. I'd push, get caught out and killed and then laughed at by WK.

Luckily i have some EU friends who drop me back down to high skill and i still play with a few SA friends some times.

Check my SA Winrate is at 56.99% compared to EU and the majority of my ranked is on EU.

I just can't do EU servers. The lag is too much for me. I calibrated like a year and a half ago at some uselss MMR of like 2k (when I was still pretty new to game) and I've had an itch to get it up ever since. Tried a few games the other day, and I just couldn't. The delay is too much for me. Hats off to all of you that do play (and win) when you play on EU servers.

Haha I'm the same, only playing on EU as living in Brussels at the moment :P

I play on SA with the 200+ ping with some old friend.

I honestly would love to play some ranked game play, as it can be a good indication if you are improving or not over a period of time... And at what rate. But obviously this pretty much isn't a thing a SA...

I hope you have some people to play with in EU, and aren't only solo queue on their servers?
 
I solo queue ranked when I feel like it but I have a good group of players to play with so no worries :P

Ranked is sometimes irritating as more people flame and get irritated easily and its not fun at times.
Guess it is luck of the dice.

Ya, got to the same point that we have a regular 4/5 stack that play together. Complete luck of the draw as to flamers though. Doesn't matter if it ranked or unranked. Angry people will be angry no matter what.
 
When the enemy team won because of a obvious smurf they then say they would have won without him....ROFL
 
Played one awesome EU Ranked game this weekend, our team was down just over 40k 35min into the game with one rax remaining and the throne on third health.

We defended for another 30 minutes after which we took the game.

That's the big difference between ranked and pubs, teams rarely surrender.
 
Anyone know of an internet cafe somewhere in PTA where i could play some dota? I am around for a week and im keen to get a game or two in.
 
Dota once again put me in low skill bracket....jirre does this game really think im that bad?
 
There is no low skill bracket, only normal,high and very high

You also get a very special bracket for players like myself, namely the potato bracket :p

I have congestion on my exchange, so playing is out for me at the moment. I couldn't figure out why I was unable to land any arrows as Mirana the other day. Our Safe Lane TB started giving me grief about missing simple setups, and it turned out I had 300ms latency to local servers. International is sitting at 500 - 600ms.... :(

We still won the game though - because I was roaming he got his levels very fast and pretty much free-farmed against a melee offlane.

Prior to that played a Witch Dr against an extremely aggro team - we had no outer towers left at about 17 minutes. Our team was more geared to late game (Invoker, Morph, Drow /not so much/ myself and Bane). After turtling for what felt like forever we won the game in the 50th minute pushing down mid after a massive teamfight where we obliterated them 5 - 0. No buy backs ftw... :D
 
Played against a 4 stack who absolutely pounded us 53-19. Some great team work from them and we were punished.

After that we were matched with them again. Expecting to get wrecked and seeing a pa and troll I went Cent. We gave them a taste of their own medicine by winning 40-3.
