Just wondering how many people are using .Mac

Just got myself an account and it works like a charm.. the iDisk is obviously a little on the slow side.. but iWeb publishing, Sync and Back-to-my-mac is incredible!

Never seen the point personally - they have a nice gallery feature but flickr is free and I have enough webspace that I'll never be able to fill it.

Maybe if they halved the price?

I must admit I never really saw the main purpose of .Mac but once you purchase one you can't live without it!

The Backup feature is awesome and also the ability to upload a website through iWeb. My site is all done in iWeb and uploaded to .Mac.

I have a funny feeling that at WWDC there are some big things in store for .MAC. one of them being some sort of SYNC between the iPhone and .Mac and then back to your Mac. :-)

Has anyone managed to get the Back to my Mac working?

Used back to my Mac for the first time last night... connected to my Mac at the Office... opened up mail and mailed a link to myself.. was a bit slow, but it got the job done!

I've tried the free trial numerous times but always let it lapse. Backup is probably very good but so it SuperDuper.

I design websites (when the unfortunate need arises) and iWeb is even more proprietary than Frontpage  - though definitely prettier. :D

I'm going to give this a shot in lieu of Back to My mac - http://www.make****break****.com/2007/09/06/how-to-get-back-to-my-mac-without-mac-or-leopard/

Sputnik, yeah only problem is that the (ASTO) Apple sales training is a very limited account. No SYNC, No iDisk, pretty much get the account just for the email...

Used mine the first year with iWeb and it worked fine... The second year I did'nt have the time to do the quizzes so I had renew by credit card.
