Downloading from rapidshare

I have been trying all day to download from rapidshare. Is there anyone here that can get it to work?

Using this as an example, I click on "free" account, says the ticket is reserved and the counter starts counting down, I pick a server, and my download manager (Internet Download Manager) says the link is invalid, no matter which server I pick

Download managers dont work on rapid only if ure a member, turn it off and u will see it works

Goddamn genius! It works now, I just need to find a work around because no way i'm downloading huge files with no download manager

Squirrel there your problem rite there...
u can't use a download manager with free acc on rapidshare

there is a prog called rap-get.. which allows u to download from all the file hosting places.

i put it here if u want it

nice prog, u just paste the download url in it and click the download button, u can queue yor files that need download and so forth u get the idea..

But jsut buy a Account, only costs like R300 or so for the year, well worth it.
and they get there download manager u can use called rapidget same type of style like rap-get.

I've got this program. I was trying it out but couldn't get it to work. I'll give it another go

No its stupid to pay when there are literally HUNDREDS of File Hosts on the net,most of which have long periods before expiration

fast i have d/l from them is @ 420k/sec . did 878mb in 35mins or so

I do agree, deff. my subs ends next year march. out comes the paypal for another 1yr sub.

I've tried a few of File Hosts and found them to be useless as most files I look for are hosted in rapidshare. Its definately a worthwhile investment. Is there a better alternative?

i got SAIX acc.. but i got pay account @ rapidshare, so have no restrictions.
if u download on the free downlaod option u can get max D/L speed of up to 50k/sec.

I just browse and download via my server in the states using VPN and firefox. Then i just download @ fullline speed yay Fixed IP so never get any lame 'IP' errors and that causeed by Telkom's Proxy Server

To disable that stupid counter type the following into your URL bar:
javascript:c(c=0)
and press enter while the counter is counting down

Immediately it will show you your code to enter to start your download. I also use a program called HideIP Platinum, so then u can also do more downloads at once
