Why the F### does my game not want to start???
It was ok last night![]()
Have you asked yourself "What changed?"
Nothing changed. It is a known prob as many are complaining.
My fix was to disable Origin In Game.
You can go to Dragonage Keep where you go through the storyline of the previous two games, create your own world state and then import it into DA: I.
Can we get a separate thread based on class please. One similar to the D3 Demon Hunter Conclave thread.
Anyone else playing with a Mage?

I'm playing Mage, and already wishing that I went with Rogue first. Most of the good loot that I'm picking up seems heavily favoured towards Rogues...![]()
It's apparently the best toon in the game... I don't see why though.
I found some upgrade material for Varric's Bianca but I don't know how to upgrade the damn item.
Other than that, I am tuning my Mage for electric and ice damage where Solas is the main support hero with his Spirit build.
Going with the same build for my mage.
Check out the romance scene with Iron Bull on YouTube, it's fscking hilarious...![]()
You go to the weapon Smith back in what's it haven, the place with the war table. You should of done 2 side quests with him soon after that first boss battle. It's apparently the best toon in the game... I don't see why though.

Actually there's two parts - you have to craft your armor/weapon upgrade first using the ingredients you collect, then you have to craft the upgrade onto your armor/weapon on a different table. Took me a while to figure this out...You go to the weapon Smith back in what's it haven, the place with the war table. You should of done 2 side quests with him soon after that first boss battle.
He makes and upgrades all the weapons and armor in the game.

I bought the game, was a good buy. Im just trying to get used to the fighting system.
when you guys see something to attack, do you just need to attack it yourself or do you need to instruct your party to all attack? they seem pretty stupid![]()
It appears to be based on both proximity and the default attack instructions. I find if they close enough they will attack automatically with or without you.
If you run ahead and activate your own attack mode they will auto battle.
I have not changed from the defaults and those were set as attack my target, so they begin attacking as soon as you target.
You can then obviously go work on their defaults, I do need to make some adjustments. Probably default my warrior to use something like taunt or guard to get allt eh strongest okes here way, the mage and varick are quite fine, but still at low levels so the default of just attack still works.
If its anything like the last games then probably around lvl10 or so it becomes more important to tune the defaults to better suite the skills of the character, by that time you already have them on a defined skills path so want to take advantage of the best or most useful of those abilities.
Do you fight real time or do you use the pause function all the time?
