Dragon Age: Inquisition

so who is playing this on PC?

Im finding the controls a bit clunky... especially for real time fighting which seems to be 90% of the time.

Im finding the need to move around using WASD, and then at the same time trying to press number buttons 1-5 rather frustrating.

I've always considered myself rather dexterous , so I'm a bit confused. Maybe I got the play-style all wrong :confused:

Yeah I fscking hate it, especially when I have to switch between characters with F1, F2, F3 and F4 and using spells with 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.

What I also fscking hate is the movement of your characters. You have to run around objects or people where they could've just gave way like on Assassin's creed...

I wonder if it would be easier with a controller... I have a Logitech cordless controller, which I think I might have to fire up... :erm:

Look, it's a good game but the control system leaves something to be desired.

True, both my XBox controller (PC Version) and Logitech Rumble Pad 2 is broken for some unknown reason... I'll buy a new one end of month prob. Keep me posted on whether the controller is better than keyboard and mouse.

There mere fact that I have to EVEN TRY a controller tells me that not enough thought was given to the pc side of things.

Really pisses me off

Not sure but I had to change the key binding for my heal from 9 to "c" as I always have to press heal on the one side of the keyboard then re-seat my fingers back to WASD.
 
Anyone else struggling to connect "to the Dragon Age servers..."?
 
For the guys playing on pc how is your cpu temp? Heard it rapes the cpu on ultra settings ?

I'll check my settings when I get home but I really don't have a prob with it. I am running on stock cooling atm as well.

When you guys fight, do you hold down R to auto and just spam your numbers? I'm finding pressing like a zillion keys at once a bit annoying :o

I can run it in either mantle or dx11
 
Im in Hinterlands with a quest that says I need to go back to the War Table to complete. I go to the War Table, and there is nothing there called that... Tower Security or something like that. I got irritated and quit the game after Afrihost was down so I couldnt even google the answer...

If you are at the point I am thinking of then you quite literally just need to walk in, think the completion is all in vocals.

Nope, walked in and out multiple times to try figure out what the hell is going on. Probably doing something stupid, nonetheless is really pisses me off :o

What level are you?

I'm looking for a good enough staff. The Sun Keeper is alright but... yeah...meh

There should be a war table mission titled something like "Watchtowers in the Farms" that should be near the hinterlands icon.

I've really enjoyed the game on pc however the mouse and keyboard controls are terrible haha.

I am happily playing it on my Xbox controller without any issues :P

Otherwise the game is amazing
