Geez you guys are taking fantasy games way too seriously. Lots and lots of games out there have guys with missing limbs. Games that came out before the woke era. And we were all fine with that. Also in pirate games we love seeing old men with peg legs and hooks for hands lol. We even expect space pirates to be disabled :p

It's very common to see mechanical arms or legs in fantasy games and characters with disabilities aren't new to Bioware games. Joker with his bone disease is apparently the best pilot in the universe. And no one was outraged about that because people knew Mass Effect was just a fun sci fi game.

I agree about the gender crap though.

3. I have never played a serious non comedy game with a disabled pirate

4. You are fighting freakin Demons, Gods and Dragons. Peg leg needs to go

Joker is literally part of the action and everyone in Mass Effect would be dead if not for him.

Mechanical arms and legs are still prostetics that replaced normal limbs that someone lost. There's no difference between that and Neve's leg.

You are fighting demons and dragons in a fantasy game where dwarves are some of the strongest warriors. Where tiny little elven girls can beat massive demons and where elderly ladies like Wynne can fight and kill gods. But oh noes, Neve has a metal leg, how unrealistic!!

Joker had one scene out of necessity. You never ever take him on missions, because why TF would you jeopardize the entire team to be inclusive?

Nobody would do that. You would get an abled bodied. Them's just facts

There is just no common sense with these writers anymore

I mean, damn, In the Witcher 3 Phillipa had her eyes poked out, but used her magic to see

Neve is a mage. Use your damn magic and create a functioning limb. Why would a mage clunk a heavy piece of metal around?
Makes no sense other than 'inclusivity'

The question for me, is why did they choose to give her an artificial leg? Why specifically a leg?

If they wanted to have the character to have an artificial limb, why not make it an arm, and that she specifically chose to keep the artificial arm instead of restoring her original through magic because she has enchanted the arm to boost her magic abilities.
Could have given her unique abilities related to it. Have an in-game rationale for why she kept the artificial arm.

Instead, it's just a leg, superficial virtue signal.
Like so much in Veilgaurd it is a shallow vacuous gesture.
Acknowledged but forgotten immediately.

What's worse is that it is a METAL leg. A heavy chunk of metal this petite woman lugs around

A fit young woman with a metal leg would be far better in a fight than an elderly tannie. In real life. Just saying.

But this is a fantasy game so a fit chick with a metal leg and magical powers is just as good in a fight against demons as 60 year old witch Wynne. :laugh:

Forget the fighting. The only straight relationship you can have with a human is with a paraplegic. You could probably cross species, but then your choices are an annoyingly sweet, fat dwarf. Or a whiny elf that looks more like an imp. These developers hate straight men.

Bring back Morrigan please...

Morrigan is in the game and she does look good. But yeah I've said before that it sucks that you can't romance non-companions.

Isabela is back as well and wearing less clothes than ever before.

Also, I actually think Bellara is good-looking lol. Would have romanced her if I wasn't trying to play some tough guy.
