Dragon Age

I bought it 3 weeks ago, but only installed it last night. I'll probably only get 'round to playing it over the weekend. I'm a little apprehensive though. As a gamer, I really suck. Mass Effect is the only game in the last 3 years I've managed to finish before I got bored/disheartened.
 
I got bored of Dragon Age very quickly. I do play games at a dnb tempo so that may be my problem :P
 
i played for awhile, got just past the part where you save that forrest girl, and now it just sits there on my desktop
 
Finished the game was amazing! Must do my second play through with a rogue. I have all the DLC now so will give it a bash.
 
I love this game, I've finished it a couple of times already, I can't wait for March when the expansion is (supposedly) coming out :D
 
I finished it 3 times and nearly finished with my 4th playthrough.I hope they get the return to ostagar dlc out soon.

Yes! I got all excited when one of the mods on the bioware forum said it would be released yesterday, but apparently it was quite buggy for the xbox 360 users, who knows when it'll be released now.
 
There is a problem I am having with the sound. The game does lag a bit but it seems the lag is the same whether it is on highest graphics or not...

The thing with the sound is it is fine in dialogue but when I am playing and fighting etc... The sounds repeat twice and it is crackly...

Can someone suggest anything?

One of the developers said before the xbox 360 got pulled that this bug doesn't affect the pc version. That's what has gotten on a lot of people nerves. Seems they have now delayed all version because the xbox 360 has a bug with its achievement systems which locks out specialzations that were already achieved. Pretty disappointing that they pirates have a working version while the legitimate gamers have to wait.


@Pooky are all your sound drivers up to date, ms updates and is the game patched to version 1.02??

Damn, I have the PC version and I want my DLC, have the points waiting there ready to be used. Ah well, it's already been delayed a few times now, I guess I'll just have to be patient awhile longer.

Maybe its just not your game type of game.

Anyway for those who like the game, return to ostagar dlc is out for xbox 360. Pc version should be out on monday. For some reason the pc version's testing isn't done even though the issue that got the xbox 360 version pulled isn't in it. I reckon theres a contractual agreement that the xbox 360 has to be released first.
 
What an awesome game it is, I just wish I had more time to play it. Its great value for money in terms of the amount of playing time you get. I want to start over again with a mage once I complete it the first time.
