Nah its ok man. I think it was getting hostile. I had my say, cw had theirs. Nothing is black and white and neither side is totally right or wrong. I really hate conflict, and im fine with itbeing locked. Some cw users there were attacking me as well so np.

Everyone is treating Scyn like a criminal when all he is doing is providing feedback about his experiences with Crystal Web, Others may have different perspectives like myself, But that doesn't mean he can't provide his feedback, Crystal Web can then provide their feedback and so on.
None of you have the right to get involved as we don't know what exactly went on and who is correct or not. PERIOD.

I have read all the posts in both threads and locking a complaint thread while leaving a troll thread to be open. No mybb you are doing it wrong hey.
I think it is best to moderate each post that have hostile tone to it instead of locking the thread. It is kind off leaves a sour taste for freedom of speech when everyone agrees or not. He has a right to post what he want and so do CW have a right to respond and protect their business.
It is a hard plank to balance but locking the thread was the wrong thing to do I think.

Nobody was defamed, and nobody was banned. The only slander posted was by scyn against Crystal Web. Scyn is not banned, and nothing defamatory was posted about her...

Feedback needs to be honest and complete. Leaving out the parts that make YOU look bad is not fair feedback.
eg:
ZOMG CRYSTAL WEB SUCKS MY DOWNLOAD IS ONLY GOING AT 100KB/SEC ON MY HUNDRED GIG LINE YOU GUYS ARE A NIGHTMARE EVERYONE AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE... while leaving out that you've already downloaded 3 terabytes in the last day...
Unfortunately most of Crystal Web's responses have been deleted now too. So reading that thread in its current state is a terrible reflection of the truth...
Only got 1 account here with 29 posts, only made 1 thread. Thats it........so Respect my opinion as a person and stop with the sly attacks please.

Sorry, you've done nothing to earn my respect, so why should I respect your opinion?
You were abusive, rude, and altogether wrong with a service provider. You didn't read and note terms and conditions, and then attempted to blackmail your way out of them. As someone who has worked in that kind of situation before, I have zero ****s to give for you.
While I agree that the feedback needs to be honest and complete.
How do we know which party is being honest and not covering their backsides.
@Crystal Web - Would it not be better to be the bigger person and just say that you will deal with this matter privately after first post instead of battling it out over a public forum.
Yeah I saw that sorry I updated my post. I think both parties should have left the hostile stuff out of the public. As I said both parties have rights so it is a very hard plank to balance.

CW has published transcripts of chats and emails. I seriously doubt they'd go to the effort of making those up.
CW were also conciliatory in the thread - the "difficulty" came with other people (like me) who take offense at people abusing customer service staff.

Hi,
We did. For weeks on end. Had the mods not deleted our responses in the thread it would be perfectly clear what lengths we've gone to. Unfortunately now, our posts are removed, and it reads like quite a terrible reflection on how we handled things, and we are very disappointed in the admins about this.
