Why would a mod want to delete your posts?
CW has published transcripts of chats and emails. I seriously doubt they'd go to the effort of making those up.
CW were also conciliatory in the thread - the "difficulty" came with other people (like me) who take offense at people abusing customer service staff.
Censorship and banning orders is what mybb does best
Oh wait I forgot mybb was killed and it became mybroadband.
Yes I think this where the mod stepped in. To be fair posting of chat transcripts was not the right move from crystalweb but it was maybe the only way to prove their defence instead of taking their word for it. Once again hard to make a ruling on these type things.
Really starting to question Mybroadband's morals, The mods seem to be censoring a lot of users.
Also seems like mybroadband only care about the money they get from advertisers and their bottom line and not about the actual consumers.
One big advertising scheme mybroadband has turned into.
There you have it.
We have been finding this strange since the first telkom add, since the first banning, since the silent treatment
Now go be silent![]()

What else do we do now? Anything I post is now an opinion, and not an accurate reflection of the situation at hand. We're rather hamstrung in that the thread has run through 5 pages, and if read as is, reflects incredibly poorly on how we addressed this.
The OP is entitled to claim she is posting facts, yet countering these claims with actual facts that we are willing to stand up in court and defend, is removed. And the entire thread now reads vastly differently to how it did before. Much time was spent addressing the claims of the OP, which are now removed, and we now as a business need to go over each and every one of them once again simply to defend false accusations, which even in the face of evidence to the contrary are allowed to remain untouched.
Like you say, it's difficult to address such false accusations without resorting to stating of facts. Which we did.
Next thing you know mydollarbills will ask you money to post your side of the story; just like hellopeter.
Long time coming, but not unexpected.

Why on earth was it not the right move?
I fully agree that abusive comms should be outed. It's not like the customer was actually named.

Yes but that was between him and the ISP and not between him and the public be it abusive or not that legal would handle. I don't know but I think it cleared CW name but also created a hostile environment where people started being hostile against the OP. Whether he is wrong or not this now most likely against mybroadbands terms.....
She brought the matter into the public domain with a thread aimed at damaging CW financially. All bets are off IMHO.
Wait what!? The OP is a SHE!!!????
I could expect this kind of behavior by a spoilt 12 year old boy, but a grown woman?????
Wow... I'm flabbergasted!
Sly attacks?
Sorry, you've done nothing to earn my respect, so why should I respect your opinion?
You were abusive, rude, and altogether wrong with a service provider. You didn't read and note terms and conditions, and then attempted to blackmail your way out of them. As someone who has worked in that kind of situation before, I have zero ****s to give for you.
Yes but that was between him and the ISP and not between him and the public
Forget everything I said...
I'll tap that![]()
Just me sure she understands she has to pay in advance...
