I haven't really been following but I wonder if MwebGuy or AfriGuy would have handled the situation if they had the same sort of community support.
 
That is your opinion. You won't know the OP had that intention. By saying avoid this ISP at all cost is not intent to cause financial harm to a company. It is the opinion of a person that had a bad experience.

disagree, I think it was blatantly clear that the OP's intention was to shine a light of disrepute on CW and to cause as much damage as possible, this was evidenced in her communication with CW

I had a bad time with them and posted 1complaint thread. Thats all. End of story.

Fair enough but did the OP post it in the forum or did CW make that fact clear with communication between the OP and CW? I did not read a single line in the OP that hinted me to believe in any way that the OP wanted to cause financial harm? We only learned that from information that CW supplied.

It is just my opinion. I'm not picking sides here actually. Hey if everyone agreed on everything all the time it would have been a sad world. :)

No thats unfair and you know it, thats why Im calling you scammers. You want to double charge me for less than a months service?. Well, Time to make sure the whole of South africa knows about this and make sure no one else makes the mistake of joining your company. I thought I would give you guys a try, since you are new, etc, but man, you have no idea how to treat customers and you are ripping innocent people off alot of money.

Maybe I will end up being forced to pay this 600, but I'll be sure its R600 you get at the cost of letting everyone know what kind of company this is.

And for the record you never did me any favours at any time. This is by far the worst Isp I have joined. You only care about money, but lets see where that will get you down the line.

Whilst they might have some happy customers, Ive seen others have a similar Unsatisfactory experience. My only recommendation is Stick with the big/trusted and established "companies". Dont be fooled by over the top false advertising claims like I was. This was the worst ISP Ive ever been with.

Of course one sided threads like those never cause harm, we must have millions of them censored by their owners. big win for the south africa internet community :D
 
I did read that but who posted that? CW or was it in the OP? How would you know if the OP followed through with that thread? Let me quote the last few lines from the OP....

I did mention that I do not agree with CW response being deleted but I see why they were deleted from mybroadbands perspective. They are just protecting their forums. They don't want a hostile environment. I think that was the thinking but the mod needs to speak for himself/herself on this matter.

Although I did not post anything I did read the whole post just after is was posted and read it again now and there is not much that have changed.

Mybroadband is my internet home. While I was waiting for Exodus to start I was reading the thread. :)

there are better ways of addressing issues, take the Orange thread for example

I posted 1 complaint thread on this 1 website. Similar to what anyone else does and less. Hardly someone on a mission to cause a company harm.
They made me very mad at various times but Im not the type to go out of my way to prove a point. If you can prove Im posting all over the web and here with many different accounts, be my guest and call me out. The mods can confirm only 1 account is registered to my IP here posting on this matter.

I even told the mods to undelete Crystal web's posts. Give me the benefit of the doubt for a moment and you'll see a simple complaint is being blown over the top by Crystal web themselves. Instead of just replying once and ending it, they dragged it on and on like this, which Is what I went through with them as well.:confused:

I don't think the OP took the right path on this one. That being said, could CW not have forfeited the R600 to keep this issue ammicable?

But my real issue is the moderation of the facts that CW supplied. Nowhere did I see any facts or proof from the OP. I saw hearsay that could be construed as slander.

The thread now reads like a load of BS, where anyone reading now won't have CORRECT context.
 

Taken completely out of context. Yep they made me very mad while I was still sick. Some people go through those emotions when dealing with some types of support:confused:

They said they would get back to me about info from the engineers regarding the performance issues I was having. That never happened either. So I can say right there that they lied to me or completely forgot, or you can accept their excuse of refusing to help me because I was verbally angry with them(After.....having gone through all of that)

Please tell me what proof or facts I should email to you?. At the very worst, I just posted some of their terms and conditions and saying I did not like them for my reasons. Is that wrong?. its only an opinion at the end of the day.
