Get an unotelly account (free trial), set up your preferences and when logged in, get unodns IP addresses for the SA DNS servers (one in Cape Town, one in Johannesburg). You can either feed those into your router so that every computer gets them as DNS server settings and can watch foreign TV. You can also just feed that into the android box as static DNS for that box only if you prefer. Also install the UnoTelly app so that you can update your IP address when required, or have it running on a PC.Thanks, I think I am going to sleep on this DroidTV.
I currently have a Mede8er 500x2 which I use for local media and is a brilliant media player, and DSTV premium for tv, but I'm keen to give online streaming ago. Could you provide any help or guides to get me setup on the various online services. I know i need to use unotelly to trick everyone to where my location is, but that's as much as I know.

Once that's done, install Netflix / Hulu / BBC IPlayer etc according to these instructions:

That should do.

2 Questions:
1) With regards to the remote, can the audio from the DroidTV/XBMC be redirected to the earphone audio output on this remote so it can be used as wireless earphones?
2) Where is the Play/Pause button?
Answers
1) Hopefully. Going to test one and confirm
2) I believe that selecting the remote button converts the other buttons to multimedia keys. I'll post a full summary after taking the remote through its paces

@AVSupply
Did you guys get your new remote stock?

Current status is waiting release from customs controlled area. Rather annoying that it took 2 days to get here and is held for almost 2 weeks
Apologies for doing this but I mixed up the remotes so the price is slightly more. The RAND Dollar rate doesn't help either and is making it really difficult to keep our prices low.

Hi guys
Sorry to be a pain, just wanted to check if the items have been released from customs as yet?![]()
Is there an XBMC free streaming thread somehwere and are there better addons than 1 Channel?
I am super excited because my DroidTV is coming today.
I found http://superrepo.org/ that seems to have plenty add-ons. I am definitely going to install a few of these and see what happens.
I have also heard good things about IceFilms, SportsDevil and MashUp. There's also an add on called Giddy Up or something that has 24 hour channels or a particular series, so you can watch back to back episodes of 2 1/2 Men for example, whatever tickles your fancy.
Don't install Superrepo, I had a lot of errors after installing it and had to disable quite a few broken addons
The fusion addon is much better, here are the instructions
http://www.xbmchub.com/blog/2014/01/23/introducing-the-addon-browser-a-free-app-store-for-xbmc/
Oh and unotelly isn't required, it just works
Thanks for the suggestions, will try them out
**Edit - After installing FUSION, let the XBMCHUB Wizard auto install everything for you. Icefilms and a bunch of other things are included. After it's setup you can manually install other addons from their repository.
Hey guys
I finally started experimenting with streaming services and tested out Netflix US and UK. Why don't any of them have recent shows available, is it because I'm in a trial period?
I then played around with XBMCHUB Fusion and 1 Channel is EXCELLENT!! It has better and more recent content than Netflix and is free!

Something else to mention, the AEON skin slows down the DroidTV. Fusion wiped my settings and pre-installed all the addons which has really sped the box up. Confluence was never my favourite skin but I'll stick with it for all the speed improvements
My DroidTV has just arrived
A big THANK YOU to AVSupply. He answered all my questions promptly and even made a special delivery arrangement for me. Nothing was an issue for him. Exceptional service!
Only issue now is that I must get through work so I can go home and plug it in![]()
