DroidTV MX or Roku?

Very happy with my DroidTV but Hulu plus is disappointing. I thought I got it running at one point but it kept buffering after the ads. Seems this is a common issue on android with hulu plus. Has anyone else managed to get hulu plus working on this device?
 
Yep, Hulu Plus is not great on my Samsung Smart TV either. Much better on PS3 and Roku. I don't think Hulu is as slick as Netflix either as I can consistently stream 1080 super hd on Netflix but sometimes have hectic buffering on Hulu :confused:

Funny thing is Hulu streamed nicely on my Roku. I think the Android app is borked. Seems many have the same issue.

Anyone know how to convince Google Play that you're in the US?

Last q for today - how do I change the background image on the MX desktop? I like quiet / simple / blank backgrounds...
It would also be nice to be able to remove the superfluous groups like video chat.

The app for changing the wallpaper worked brilliantly and the new Hulu + app works too :)
I now have ABC (aussie channel), BBC iPlayer and Hulu+ working on the box.
10/10 for support from AVSupply!

I don't suppose anyone knows any good android remote control software for Android :D ?
What I'd hope exists is software that allows me to use my android tab or phone as a trackpad for my MX box - not some specific remote control (i.e. for an application), but a generic android remote... perhaps even being able to swipe or operate an on-screen keyboard (on the tab screen), but mainly to be able to operate a mouse on the screen. I've tested the remote app that came with the MX box and it's decent to use it for TV, but I'd really like a track pad for the cursor.

Alternatively, what is a recommended WiFi keyboard for the MX box? I'd like a nice compact keyboard and track-pad in one if possible.

Would you say you need a trackpad more than a keyboard, or would you prefer a solution that has both?

Both would be top class. Track pad alone would be OK too.

If you willing to wait a few more days, we will be adding a newer version IR and Gyroscope Mouse/Keyboard with Mic and Speaker plus Headphone Jack. It should (hopefully) be able to stream audio wirelessly like the Roku, will confirm after testing it

Now that would be cool! I liked that feature of the Roku - headphones on when the kids are sleeping. Definitely willing to wait, please let me know when it's here.

Hi WesleyR,

They arrived in the country last week Monday and have been with customs this whole time, hopefully not much longer until our shipment is released

I'll make sure to update this thread after receiving the shipment and testing a unit
