WACS is probably a problem that had not been resolved earlier and has become apparent now because of the Seacom loss in connectivity.

Yeah, the Seacom link is broken at Egypt, so everything else is routing via India atm.

It seems only certain ISPs are affected by this.

My Axxess account works but when connected to it I get thousands of CRCs (especially downstream). If I connect my AH account everything seems to work just fine...absolutely no CRCs; and the latencies are fine. I tested D3 and LoL...

WA gave a couple downstream but not as bad as Axxess. Vox and MWEB seems to be taking the hardest knocks...wonder why?

yep, Telkom/SAIX is unaffected it appears, we still pushing a few hundred Mbit/s over SAIX links and I just did a test and got full speed to EU and NA.

Telkom is affected, a lot of telkom internet users have barley working internet right now. 5kb/s at best.
