I want to downgrade from Premium to Select2. I sent 2 e-mails already to the address given on their website. No response yet. Tried to call them this morning but gave up after being on hold for 20 minutes.
Does anyone has the e-mail address for Multichoice Customer Services? I also would like to know whether subs are paid in advance - would I pay the lessor subs at the end of June if I downgrade w.e.f. 1 July?
 
Don't bother emailing customer care. I mailed them a month ago and it took them 7 calendar days to respond.
Call them, but do it early in the morning. Best is to find out when they open and then call exactly then.
 
After the world cup we're canceling DSTV (have got HD and SD PVR extraview combo). We're not getting TopTV, we're just dumping DSTV.
 
I cancelled DSTV 1 day after getting Top TV !!
Dude wanted to know why? Can you believe it? Are these people blind and deaf?
I gave him my top 5 reasons and then he wanted to know if they will be able to get me back as a customer in future? NO never.
 
I downgraded to Easyview yesterday.
Just had to wait for the Super 14 to finish.
 
I got a job this week and one of the benefits is dstv for halfprice.
 
Cancelled today..... Will go pick up a toptv decoder this afternoon.
 
Also cancelled and going the download way.

Already more conversation with wife and kids going on. Listening to music and having family fun instead off always staring at the box.

Did DSTV hold you acountable for those three months you did not pay?

Was the same with us. Used to retreat to the tv-room every night after dinner. Cancelled dstv and now only rent a dvd twice a week. Did the family relationship lots of good :)

That being said, I have enabled my DSTV again for the French Open/Wimbledon and soccer (don't want SABC commentary in 11 languages, thanks...)

Cancelled my account as of midnight tonight. Sold the decoder a few minutes ago, it walked out the door with it's new owner. I feel liberated :)
