I think the problem aint about the pricing for me. The issue is that the packages arent practical. They literally forcing you to get the higher packages due to the channels. They advertise the number of channels in the lower packages but when you look at those channels, there probably a really low number of customers that actually watch majority of those channels.
ADSL is just perfect. Watch what I want, when I want. Would only go back to DSTV if they ever have the option of you selecting the channels you want. Obviously with different costs depending on the channel itself. Like the perfect package for my needs would be EasyView and would 'only' include Sport channels, Comedy Central, MNet(All), Discovery, BBC Lifestyle. Almost all others are nothing I watch. Then too of those extra channels, theres more than 70% of them, dont have anything that I would watch. Africa Magic, Kyknet, Fashion, Teletrack, Kids and Teens, just to name a few.
I dont want to pay for channels I dont need. There packages have increased recently but I think they should have an option for you to add in certain channels of your choice. And remove alot of those unnecessary channels(I think that should allow them to reduce the cost)
Just out of curiosity, how many others would find just sabc, etv and Mnet sufficient?
