Dstv culling more channels

Additional 2nd & 3rd Indian Package channels (first 451, now 452 & 456) have also maybe closed, didn't see announcements about those two but they're currently coded E38 - not available. However their EPG info is still listed.

Maybe all related to the possible Canal+ takeover of MC next week, who knows.
MultiChoice chair stays on to oversee Canal+ deal
Technical issues I suppose these things tend to happen more shocked its only the batch of channels from Zee TV.

530 already finished.

Here's a strange one - 165 Zambezi Reloaded (also temp. based on previous behaviour) but I don't think it's for Saffers.

Anyway, it's back on Explora but not on some older SD decoders (not even on ROA ones).
Seriously bad oversight, what next MC?

It's being structured in a similar form as channel 109/10 for consumers in Zambia

190 Spice and 327 Sound City have both been unavailable since early yesterday (E38), but looks likely it's just technical again as they're beamed from the same transponder. No notice or any other clues.
Edit: Both channels not working on streaming either.
Edit 2: i-Plate on one of those channels does now explain that it's a tech fault.

So maybe the recent culling has stopped... ?

Could not be bothered

Another channel I've never even heard of.
It's known for shows like Arthur and Dinosaur Train I think people would have been familiar with the brand if it hadn't shuttered years back.

I pretty much never go past the sport channels :)

125 TLC Africa added. Will be a ROA version for 135 TLC, so shouldn't be available here. Only in SD.

Some unusual activity with a couple of test channels, looks like a possible new SuperSport channel coming for SA & ROA but likely to be a cheapie one based on what's been seen.

(Normally not worth mentioning all these changes, just an interesting period of them and maybe some clues about new Canal+ changes, who knows)

Might just be for the Paralympics, forgot about those - starts on Wed.

Edit: Confirmed on a test channel's i-Plate

It looks like MultiChoice plans to close SuperSport Variety 2-4 or at least for consumers in some parts of Africa but I wouldn't be surprised if it included us

Well done, yes some changes in ROA.

Their SS Variety 1 and SS Act channels were swapped around, and some other changes - SS Variety 2 & 3 are now called SS Africa 1 and SS Africa 2, and the 4th one is now wrestling - WWE Africa.

There are announcements in Ghana etc. about enhancements to the SS Action channel, but who knows if it affects our version... the stuff on at the moment is the same.

No changes or announcements here, and nothing from TV With Thinus.

Presume MultiChoice is looking to do something similar in South Africa but with them having their own feed from ours they are probably trying to figure out the structure we do hold the most sports compared to them.
