Famous last words? Saying things like that before a major Over the Air firmware update to thousands of devices just seems to tempt fate...

Bit disappointing that this contains bug fixes. I'm still awaiting the enhancement to the 1110 enable you to select your favorite channels and be able to hide the bad ones.
 
MWEB should really do something about the software for the HD PVR. I have to reboot my PVR at least twice everyday. The PVR does strange things like, I want to watch a recorded show, then the PVR will stop and go back to the previous channel.

4. Decoder bricked, take back to Multichoice
5. PROFIT!!!!

Okay so the above might not be in the correct order, but you get what I am implying.

Yes... I can see that... they've probably done this in response to a mate of mine who hacked a feature of the 1131...
 
How about an update for the new HD PVR decoder that "loses signal" randomly and is really pathetic. Im downgrading to an old decoder shortly so that the damn thing doesnt stall every 2 seconds.
 
Take it back to Multichoice that sounds serious, normally losing signal means it's either not getting enough power or there is a software glitch, why sit with the problem if you can get it fixed?
 
I have the 1110 decoder and the once or twice a week that I want to watch TV, the decoder has lost its signal and I have to unplug it from the power mains to allow it to rescan, it does not help trying to rescan with the aid of the remote.
