DSTV Drifta

Does anyone know what the actual res is? Because the iPhone4 screen isn't exactly low res...

Guys, I apologise for hurting your feelings. Honestly though, a ten second Google search is all it would have taken. Probably the same amount of time it took to post your questions.

Let's do away with forums where people ask questions, and just implement a chat box/forum to talk k@k. They should know better and just fscking Google it.

If you have more than device, e.g. laptop, pc and cellphone - can you watch different channels on each?

Time to get over it buddy. Someone with your number of posts should know by now that certain questions are met with sarcastic answers on forums. It's certainly not unique to this forum either. If you feel wronged then please report me to the moderators.

I highly doubt that it would be able to do that. That would only be possible if there are more than one DVB-H tuner in the Drifta device. Which is unlikely.

Very important to make sure about reception in your area. It works well at work but I'll only know how well it works at home when I get there this evening. It's risky and there's really no way to test this before-hand. The online coverage map is not too hot.

What I really want to see is if I can get the stream OUT of the PC software so I can get it into my Media Centre....

Could somebody please post some screenshots from the Drifta (normal and double size) so that we can all see what the picture quality is like.

Guys. I have just bought a Nokia N8.

Has anyone with an N8 tried using it to catch DSTV DVB-H (Mobile) because it says the N8 can be used without a drifter on their website. See below.

"What do I need in order to use DVB-H?

- A DVB-H enabled cellphone (e.g Nokia 5330, N96, N8, ZTE F900)
- A data activated SIM card
- A Drifta and/or a device approved to work with a Drifta"
