Dstv drifta

Hi,
I am going to start travelling so im thinking of buying dstv drifta to use on my laptop but im on vodacom 3g,how much data do you think the drifter will use? will it be like watching youtube or what? please give me clarity on this,I would hate to deplete my data in the middle of the month....again what you think of 8.ta 120GB? between 8.ta and Vodacom which one have fast,uninterrupted connection?

Never used it before hence I need some clarity,but I think a network connection is needed somehow but the question is how much??

It doesn't use data, its similar to a tv signal

Check coverage (signal) for the area you're going to. Otherwise you can use Dstv mobile if there's a good Mtn or Vodacom signal. The Mtn option don't use data although it stream over 3G. Vodacom not sure.
