Hi everyone I am thinking of getting a tablet,I have been checking out samsung galaxy note 10 and ipad 3,I am really confused on what to get, price and quality is my deciding factor,I hear samsung have so many advantages while apple have style and quality, which one do you think is best for an average manager? I only use office, browsers, reading ebooks and watching movies and videos while travelling, saw Ipad at hifi corporation at R5299 and Samsum galaxy note at R5800,I really don't know which one to take...I don't want either on contract wanna pay cash and I want something that will allow me to insert my 8.ta 3G simcard,

Please help me choose the best, have budget of R5300 and below

Have you maybe looked at the Nexus 7?
With that budget you can almost import 2.
Do they do a 3G version?

But importing won't cost more as I will pay import taxes and duties? Customer services?

Samsung Galaxy 7.7" P6800 (16GB,3G, takes 64GB microSD, good display) - 8ta sim works in there (they all do !).

Cons : Expensive, and no JB as yet. Mine cost about R5300, but I imported it. Vodacom sell them locally, not sure about the price.

You can also wait for the iPad Mini.

I use a 10" tablet at home, and a 7" when I am out and about, or travelling.

Reading ebooks?

I find that the 7" display is a bit small (being elderly and all) and pinching/stretching the screen while reading frustrating.

Hence, for reading purposes, the bigger the better!

@AlphaJohn I used 3G as an example of todays connection but in essence where I stay the connection is HSPA,3G is only for 5secs or below,@Jola I don't want something that have possible hidden costs @xeslaro as I said I am confused.
