You do have a thing for DSTV, I prefer Sky or TNT, BEIN English 1, 2 and 3 are also prefered.

NBC for football, Olympics and sailing; Sky for F1, Rugby and Golf; BT, but I guess we have to call it TNT now for MotoGP, and Eurosport for WSBK and Cycling ('tho ITV carry the Tour too) are my go-to's.

Whole different animal, that. Nobody seems to know if/when geo-based copyright has a case anymore.

DStv coming for streaming pirates

Numerous households in South Africa using the Waka TV service could soon find themselves in the crosshairs of the law if DStv follows through on a threat to crack down on illegal pirate streaming services.

DStv parent company MultiChoice recently scored two significant victories against people facilitating the operation of illegal streaming services in South Africa.

Thing is, if it was done to my copyrighted and expensive to create content then how would I feel?.

Depends on the quality. If I made a game or movie or whatever with very limited budget and non for advertising, I would be glad if some people streamed it. That way word of mouth gets out and those that don't stream from "pirated" sites/apps might actually give it a watch on normal above board streaming platforms.
