How's the delay when using a VPN?

Its not noticeable. I would say that everything is running 30 - 60 Seconds behind the actual game. unless you have friends who comment on the game in Whatsapp etc, you wont even know the difference

My IPTV service has 28 Supersport Channels (FHD & HD) and the whole DSTV bouquet too. I am paying less than R1000 for a years service.
Coupled with a VPN ( i use Surfshark ) its the best service i have ever had.

Watching Footie in BT Sports UHD @ 50FPS is amazing

Why do you need sport?

You'll be surprised set the amount of time you get back after quitting this addiction.

I was probably the biggest cricket fan. Would watch all major matches. Now I just catch the scores and have F1TV for F1. The first few weeks takes some getting used to but after that it's just liberating to not be controlled by it...

Haha I stopped long before. I guess having a kid forced me out of it, wanting more family time during the weekend that we don't get during the week.

The evenings are "me" time, and there's no sport on, so I game...

The joke is their system is so rubbish and archaic its going to take forever to detect you've stopped one stream and let you start another one on your other device. You'll just keep getting messages saying you're streaming from more than 1 when both are off lol

I will pay good money for a service (services) that will allow me to watch rugby, cricket, F1, UFC, some other sports and a selection of a few DSTV channels, mainly the Afrikaans ones.

The DSTV Now App is well known for its app-breaking bugs. Just search this forum and you will see plenty of people moaning about it. So yes its a subpar service given how much it costs. And when people are being squeezed with bond repayments, increasing fuel and food costs among the whole host of other increasingly expensive necessities, the first thing you do is cancel DSTV or find ways to share the cost. So yes its parasitic behaviour from Multichoice and its pretty clear they have no understanding of their market.

You do realise DSTV is way cheaper than the combination of subs for UFC, F1 and MotoGP? Then I also get the rugby and cricket... Why does that not make sense in your mind?

Ok, let me break it down for you in simple terms so that you can also understand basic maths:

Monthly UFC PPV - R1150
Monthly UFC fightpass - R370
Annual MotoGP - R2400
Annual F1 - R680

And no, I have zero affiliation to Multichoice/DSTV and will cancel the moment I can get what I want cheaper...but at the moment I can't. What you clearly don't understand also is that circumstances differ for different people. You watch soapies and can get it cheap elsewhere...what I watch I can't get cheaper elsewhere. Bring facts and not your frail feelings if you want to discuss the financial decision of keeping or cancelling DSTV.
