Dstv my feelings

I need it for the sport. Sports coverage is as good as you'll get locally and it's worth the price of subscription for me.

Yup, like the awesome performance of the Saffers over the Pakis. How I would miss that if it weren't for SS.
 
Ffs people are retards, my feelings are not hurt.
The HD channels are NOT true HD, its almost like upscalling to 720p, the sport channels are the only true channels in HD.
The hardware is not up to scratch, if people think there is value in this service be warned, there is not.

Abzo, jeez you really need help.

All the channels are in 1080i, there is no plausible reason why they would upscale 720p footage when studios only distribute HD at the highest resolution. I have a HD PVR and it is definitely all 1080i.

Crap, maybe you should let MC know then because according to them and their website, not everything is 1080 and any person with the gift of vision can see the difference.

Oh and we are running it into an LG 42" 3D TV via hdmi
Only the sport is true HD

If it was not for the SS, MC Monopoly, we would have been able to see in Nationally on all sports channels maybe even in HD. :whistle:
 
So your main complaint is that you dont feel the other HD channels are not good enough?
Repeats - if someone can't find something to watch then they either need to get out the house more or watch more of a variety. I've always got a backlog of things to watch

In the past NoChoice would broadcast in 720p. I read somewhere that they now switched to 1080 on at least some channels. That would be full HD, but with compression artefacts occasionally.

My gripe with DSTV is that there isn't nearly enough international programming. Good TV series from countries like France never make it on DSTV. That's a pity as there are some gems. And let's not forget about the rest of the world.
 
Dstv is ****...I canceled along time ago...my adsl and sickbeard,xbmc and nzb setup, give me a service a million times better then dstv, without the buggy decoders.

Ps..I have and HD and SD decoder collecting dust in my cupboard and that were they will stay for a long time. Multichoice sucks!
