DSTV Now App - Andriod TV Boxes

Hi guys

Hope you all are well.

DSTV NOW APP - Latest Version for Android TV
Mi TV stick and TV Box (Mi S) Same issues

I get contstant disconnects while streaming (PER0) and also sometimes, the stream loops. I have to then kill the app, and restart it. Sometimes even to reboot

Im not sure if this is connectivity related? Or still issues with the actual APP? I tried to roll back to the previous version, which usually worked well (Old look and feel) But i cant anymore, seems like they disabled it, as it keeps on asking to connect to the internet.

This is frustrating, i pulled my dish months ago, and seems like i would need to get it re installed, last night i had 4 to 5 PER0 errors. And had to kill and restart the app to get it going again....

I know there is constant app issues, but not sure if anyone else experiencing this?

Can't say if I have experienced the same, since the DSTV android app is extremely slow and unresponsive. I'd rather suggest that you load Kodi on your Mi TV stick and MiBox S and setup DSTV via that using the instructions in this thread:

It's quick and easy to setup, plus it's a far better user experience (for me personally) and MUCH more responsive vs the DSTV app. Give a try, believe me, you'll never go back to using the standard DSTV app once you've tried it. If you still get the (PER0) errors, then something might be up with your account or the streaming devices, but I highly doubt its the latter and the DSTV app that is to blame instead.

Hope you well. Thanks for the tip. I used to play with Kodi in the old days.

Let me setup there, and see how it goes. I did not know you can connect to DSTV via Kodi app. Will try it out and report back. Thanks alot man
