First question - any of your devices rooted/grey imports?
Note 4, rooted stock ROM.
Note 8, not rooted stock standard Makro stock.

Can we also pepper you for the constant steps backward the Explora user interface is taking?

For example, the TV Guide interface used to be extreme useful with a vertical scrolling for shows on a specific channel. And then it changed to a useless vertical channel listing with horizontal program guide scrolling.
 
Doesn't work on my S4 also. Hiding root didn't make a difference

Not really my department, but I do work with the decoder guys from time to time, but it's only really related to Catch Up and BoxOffice. At the very least I can be a shoulder to cry on :)

Best place to voice those concerns is on the DStv Forum - the mods on the forum all work directly on the products they represent so the feedback is usually quite good.
 
What devices are you running? Do you get any specific error messages?

ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T and a Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone. (Both running Android 4.2.1)
When I try to watch a catch up episodes I get the following message.
"Video playback error:1 Sorry there was an error playing the video. Make sure your device is registered." I get the same message trying to watch different episodes on both my devices. In the Settings>Manage Devices of the app both these devices shows as authorised to access Dstv Catch Up.

I can download an episode, but when I try to play it from the download queue I get the following message."Video Playback Error. Licence acquisition failed. Please check your internet connection."

On the same devices I have access to the Supersport streaming app without any problems.

I have already uninstalled and re-installed the apps a number of times as well as rebooting the devices with no success.
