DSTV Now - Buffering

Terrible this side as well. Have you run a tracert lately to the dsTV now server?

DSTV Now streaming was shocking today... Had been perfect all along but today could barely get a stream to hold

Supersport site down? Keep getting connection errors...

If there is any sort of big sporting event the DSTV now supersport streams **** their pants. Probably same servers as the Supersport site.

Streamed the soccer last night in 4k, no issues. the app has come a long way.

I do not have the issue when I stream live tv, but when I am on catchup I seriously struggle to stream. I never had it, but the last month or so I can not watch a video without it being interrupted

The problem is not with Mweb. Even people with fibre, proper uncapped 20/20mb lines have constant stream lock. DSTV servers can not cope with the amount of stream demanded.

......and they want to launch a streaming service bwahahahahahaha.

DSTV Now was buffering so badly for me last night, I also missed Croatia's second goal because of this.

Me too.. We had to failover to Sabc 1 :wtf:

And for the next two weeks the whole world can use DSTV Now to watch all Sport channels so expect it to get worse.
lack of forward planning to open it up to potential subscribers when they don't even have the capacity to meet demand of the current users.
DSTV Now is completely unusable for me this evening.

I got buffering earlier this evening on some of the channels. Someone there was watching this thread and decided we were having it too easy
