DStv Now has a new name

If only they could focus on actually worthwhile pursuits, like not having their "live" soccer streams being 1-2 minutes behind.

No idea. I used a VPN and Amazon Prime Trial last season and watched a Premier League game that was almost or perfectly in sync with the live stream though. There's some bs excuse and explanation as to why the stream is behind on the DSTV website.

This is even more confusing than I thought it would be. Their rewards say to use and watch Dstv. But you're already paying for Dstv. So what now? What they don't state is that they actually want you to register and download the old Dstv Now app.

They have this rewards system with points, like for how long you subscribed and to what you're subscribing. One of them says "Watched DStv in the last 3 months". What they mean is to register and watch Dstv Now.

Btw got a R250 Takealot voucher this morning. No minimum spend and works on existing accounts.

Cool. They probably have a stuffed description there.
Didn't know of the rewards system.
I don't pay for DSTv :p

The description is stuffed, but because they didn't consider how naming Dstv Now to just Dstv would impact the marketing. It makes perfect sense if you read it as Dstv Now but they just went and replaced it with Dstv everywhere it was used.

I referred to and will still refer to it as DSTv Now.

I'm using DSTv Now only.
So if I need to type it or say it, instead of saying I'm using DSTv Now, I now need to state explicitly that I'm using DStv Streaming on a Phone. Great fkup there too :p
