DStv recently announced the return of Open Time over the weekend of 7–9 November 2025 as part of its 30th birthday celebrations.

As part of the promotion, South Africa’s pay-TV broadcaster will offer free access to DStv Premium to anyone with an active DStv decoder subscription.

Thanks for clarifying as repeating the race from 2015 is a very real possibility for them.

(Currently useless info: But that wouldn't be possible with the cheap Easyview package (R30 p/m) as that's only available with satellite subscription, so would cost R150 R99 for the month. )

Note it lies about cost of alterations - says you won't be charged part of your quota for the day for making those, but you are.
