DStv pay-TV competitors give feedback

Pay for channels you want to watch? FAIL...
uhm i only want supersport on saturdays lol....this will never happen...

SuperSport/MC has got so much money invested in all of this they will never let go....

Youll get people who only wants sabc 2 at 20 p/m....will never work not here not anywhere...
 
Wasn't Sky in the UK forced by the broadcasting authorities there, to give up their monopoly of certain premium content? I think ICASA must do the same with MC. It will help create competition but shouldn't hurt MC that much as they can't take Supersport away from them. Pity ICASA's so toothless.

No new Pay tv will ever rival dstv in my opinion, regardless of what people think DSTv have pay tv locked down.

I am not going to pay some new service 200-300 bucks and then still pay dstv for all the sport.

People may not really understand why DSTV is so well supported and i will point those people to their sport coverage which is world class in my opinion.
 
There's always the possibility that MC might up there game when the competition do finally arive to protect their market share. It will be interesting to see in any case

The only thing MC know how to up are their subscriptions.
 
I hear a s****** in the hallowed hallways and corridors of Multichoice. Like the articles we read in 2003 about real competition to Telkom.
 
one can only hope there will be some competition for DSTV. and I say HOPE cause like every thing els in S.A. Eg. Cell phone networks... competition does not always meen better pricing
