Thats a single LNB! thats why it doesn’t work that splitter the installed aint doing jack and from the looks of its wear and tear looks to me as if its been their a while already.
How much did they charge you for the initial installation - do you have an invoice and what does it say on it

Was R400 plus R300 for last call out so R700 we wasted so far :D for them to put it in and fix it and we did it in September, but cant remember when the first cable was put in

The invoice said Call Out Fee + Cabling, Setup & Test - 17 Sep 2012

New one said Call Out Fee - 1 Feb 2013

when you called them out what did you ask them to do?
I have to be honest If you asked to them get you ready for xtraview or HD PVR they did no do that, it looks as if they just split you original lnb in 2 which wont work correctly for either -so wither they didnt understand what you wanted, they understood and then they really useless installers or they ripped you off :(

Asked them to put in a LNB in the other room where we moved our lounge/tv to and to keep the other one for extraview/pvr when we decide to use it properly and incase we change our mind about our new lounge spot.

They are multichoice accredited installers reason why I chose them :(

They pulled a fast one! Should be twin lnb for what you going to be doing. I'm stuck with a splitter and it sux

eish phone them ask for the manager, explain what you ask for and what you ended up with, and if you get no resolution then complain to multichoice or go the hellopeter route. not sure what else you can do ?

Thanks will try what you suggested and hopefully when they come tommorow they will correct their mistakes

They also said a dual LNB costs like R700 the last time they were here when on google its like under R400

Yes my mom wont make the same mistake again and how much should a dual lnb cost since they charging R700 for the item, if I wanted it.

They finally came and tried to say they were going to charge us, then I complained it got worse cause of their company and showed them

Waiting to see what they do next and not like I can pay them since I only use cards not cash lol :D
