Hi

We recently moved into a new complex, with a communal dish.
We plan on getting the DStv: PVR Explora 2
I have been told we would need a switch

Is there any one in the Somerset west area we could contact to instal/setup and supply the switch?
What would the costs be? Will I be able to setup it up myself?

Thanks.

Note sure why you would need a switch.
The lady at GAME said I would need one.
R1999 for decoder, dish and installation.
R1499 just for decoder. And since the complex use a communal dish, I would need a switch and organise self installation.

I had the explora 1 and the switch came in the box. Ask the security at your complex for the DSTV communal frequency list. It should look someting like 11520 V 3/4 and there should be a list of about 10 or so. Once you received this you have to enter it in your decoder. I can explain how to do that and you can then use the communal dish. Usually when they have a communal they don't allow single installations. Let me know if you come right
