Until this last Wednesday I did not have any problems streaming DStv Stream to all my devices. I have 4 of them and are aware that I can only stream to one at a time.
One of the devices (A Lenovo tablet with Android 10) suddenly start to display the following message.

"We're sorry
Licence denied. Failed to find a policy for the requested security level SW_SECURE_DECODE"

I've spent hours chatting with Dstv, rebooting devices, clearing caches, uninstalling and reinstalling the App as well as making more space on the tablet but to no avail.
They first said that the tablet is not compatible (although it worked for 2 years until a few days ago) and then that add-ons might interfere with the Dstv app. (No add-ons on the tablet)

Does anyone know what the problem can be and how to fix it?

I've been getting an Oh no! No internet connection error all day today. I'm unable to select network settings to see what the issue is.

Someone broke the internet its going to take a while to get it fixed.

Also getting constant error messages. DSTV is such a sht product

I've also had problems since they introduced the new app. Also, casting onto a TV can sometimes be very frustrating under the new system.

Sometimes, I've had to resort to using "other streams" and they are sometimes even faster than the DSTV ones which are paid.

I had to watch the football on another platform as DSTV is useless, if there are internet issues undersea it's not our problem. I only pay for DSTV for sports and I think it's a good time to cancel now.

If you could pay for what you watch, you would pay a ⅓ of what you pay for every month. Do you have to pay for KFC that you didn't get. Rip off.

Update: If your ISP is using Dimension Data, you are likely to experience problems with DStv as well as Netflix at the moment ...

Same issue my side, error “ Oh no! No internet connection”. I wonder if this is dependant on your ISP, who knows… I’m using Axxess
