Dstv stream problem

How's the daily Frikkie articles coming along? Scaring everyone into paying?

What Frikkie and Co. forget, is that the locals, are inovators, they are patient, but also, that they have long memories, and tend to hold onto grudges for a long long time.

MultiChoice is coming across as very aggressive. All they really have is sport. If they lose that, it's downhill.
 
Perhaps they should up their Broadmedia dues, that will get some positive publicity out o_O :ROFL:

Seriously doudt publicity, will be a change vector for them. They need to stand and deliver, on all those things that have caused them to lose customers.

They need to start making their customers and prospective customers, well, Happy Chappies again.
 
I am experiencing this issue for the last couple of days, where everything has disappeared from MyStuff. New recordings don't appear as well. This is on the smart TV app and on Chrome browser on my laptop.
 
I have seen a similar issue to this before where My Recordings is missing but I cannot recall if I've ever seen it happen to the whole My Stuff section or not.

The issue eventually resolved itself. But it was definitely account-specific and not device-specific because it presented on a relative's account but not on my own account on the same device (what you've confirmed as well by switching devices). Clearing app cache or data made no difference.

Perhaps temporarily create a new profile on your account and see if My Stuff works for you over there? At least until it's fixed on your main profile you can then record things etc. if it works.

I am using Android TV box and the short answer is that the DSTV app is simply cr#p. I experience same issue described above and more. They come and go also
 
Yes, it is the only app on my Hisense Android TV where I ever have to clear all the app's cache or data to get it to work again.

Sometimes when trying to view the channel grid and being given no channels and a "Retry" button that never works. Other times when My Stuff refuses to load and gives a "Retry" button.
 
My Dstv stream is freezing all the time, advert freezees. Maybe they want us to go back to decoder .
Any advice what to do??Clear the cache on tv,done,change the speed, done.

I had the same issue, missed the Rugby in the end.

I had to clear the data as well. Then when I logged in again it was fine

So, did a force stop, then cleared cache. Then stopped it again and cleared the data.

How, I mean HOW can DStv be so bad at streaming? I have 500mbps Ethernet straight to my Apple TV and I can’t get a quality picture for more than 4 or 5 seconds at a time. It’s more often than not completely pixelated as to be unwatchable, or it stops and says something went wrong, or now the latest, I’ve reached my stream limit.

I try the app on my TV which has also wired Ethernet connection and again, same story. It’s a fscking schit show of note. Just how can it be? I don’t understand how these cnuts can’t get it right?

How do I watch this?

Clearly you are not paying DSTV enough, you need yo triple your mo thly contribution at least, better chance ic you quadtripple your contribution.
