Hi guys

Really need some assistance on this. Doesn't seem like DSTV can solve my problem. I recently purchased the DSTV wifi connector for the explora. After trying the automatic setup
as well as the manual set up via my PC, it still won't connect to the internet.
It connects to the router but not the internet. After following the step by step guide for manual setup, I get the message saying "Congratulations, you're connected" but still no internet connection.

As per an old post of mine:

Make sure you enable CatchUp Extra before you do the check. I had exactly the same problem and, once the option was enabled, the check succeeded.

Cheers,
Brett

Hi Brett, both the options are enabled under connected services.

Did you manage to solve this issue? Im having a similar one.

My connected services are enabled

Explora connects to router but not the internet.

I have tried bypassing the wifi router and plugging in a ethernet cable and it still won't connect.

Hi
I am having this problem. Have reset the connector but still connector does nothing - does not find a network / router etc
Did you solve this problem Thanks

I had endless problems with mine, until I did the following:
1. Unplug from DSTV
2. Plug Ethernet cable into unit and into computer
3. Do manual set up via instructions
4. Check that it connects to Wifi
5. Unplug from Ethernet and plug into DSTV
6. Profit.

I have been trying manually with the laptop and the wifi connector. As others have said .... Wifi connector on laptop keeps on saying " searching neighbouring access points" and nothing happens. Please assist

SOLVED

Tried different laptop which successfully scanned and identified my network Added password and all done Found other blogs stating same problem related to Asus laptops which I also have.
