What is there to work on? You already have dstv now, you just need to make it accessible to non-satellite subscribers.
Granted - it will probably take you a decade to bring the price point down to an acceptable level...
They won't do it in a million years. (Or they will charge your R750 just for sport).
And if DSTV does stream.. give us true HD and less buffering.
How about NO buffering?
If only they could get their LG TV app to actually work properly...
its DSTV, what do you expect?I also don't understand why don't just merge Showmax and DSTV Now. It seems silly to have 2 separate streaming platforms with presumably different development teams all working essentially on the same thing.
ftfyDSTV streaming is already there! The matter that they are currently considering is just how are they going to syphon huge chunks of money out of their clients without expensive cross subsidised packages.
... at 1kbps.4K channels coming soon...
Yeah it will be a problem if your neighbour sees the touchdown 20 seconds before you. With Showmax there is a +-20 second delay before the movie starts
How is live sport going to work? Any delay will be a problem.

Not a familiar with sarcasm?.................Sheldon, is that you?
Then it's simply not justified for the average South African. That price would be for a sport only package I would guess.
That's why the current model works it's pricey to bring us sport. I saw a report that the Premier league broadcasting rights increased 70% over a three year period its madness. Then it's simply not justified, for the average South African.
I have the LG TV app and it works fine for me?
See if you are able to stream all the Live TV channels. Only some of them work.
Ugh don't remind me... at 1kbps.
