Don't have it on my work pc, but if u go to your library and then on one of the menus, u have an option to show duplicates.
Then u can delete.
Not sure of the wording.

Yep I know about that option, but with more than 7000 duplicates that's going to take forever.....

I use Windows. 7000? Easy with kidds adding files to the library

I did it once too, itunes "sorted" my library I only really had one copy of each song but itunes was picking it up in its folder and "my" music folder.

It's a crapload of work getting your music library sorted out.

Ja, took me a few days.
But u only have to do it once with iTunes hopefully.

Google iTunes and you'll find a lot of plugins that help.
Then u make sure u back it up.

Spelling mistakes in songs become annoying.
