Damn !! The authorities need to close that juncture with immediate effect and clear out the area in a 3-5 KM radius , just as a precautionary measure, and even possibly save lives. What is the status currently? Any latest developments, pics, video's ?
 
Wonder if they've evacuated the area? Just to be on the safe side.

Yeah, but that is slightly different in terms of volume of water, pressures etc etc etc..


Dropping 10000l (or whatever) of water from the air may rupture tanks that have volatile chemicals in them and make the problem much worse.

Even a 150kt nuke won't create a 3km air blast radius... I know it's bad but the fire isn't that bad

Since the area is predominantly industrial and logistics it will be relatively sparsely populated. I personally would evacuate for about 1km around it just in case of chemical elements getting into the air.

50kt nuke. Fireball diameter at initial detonation: 8km
