no hope.. just did this ping thing to www.sentech.co.za

Ping statistics for 66.18.65.115:
Packets: Sent = 50, Received = 48, Lost = 2 (4% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 397ms, Maximum = 3462ms, Average = 2147ms

at least theres an improvement in loss :P

Durban only - Gauteng and CT have already been done.
I have a 5.0.1.59 modem firmware here but I believe its buggy.
Depending on how buggy I may give it out to some of you.
We do use it though to test the new NodeB upgrades.

Rhino, the 10.11.253.... ip number happened to me too yesterday.
I simply disconnected my broadband router, used the USB cable
and used ProAsm's RESET facility in MySignal. I then logged in
using Mysignal... did a shutdown and re-connected using the
network cable and router again. Connected without any problems!
Should this happen again, I suggest you try this.
For some reason, if they do any changes on Sentech's authentication
server etc. etc. your router will not be able to cope without
some manual intervention using your USB connection.

Now im more confuzed than ever. I get home, and force of habbit turn everything on. Router connects for me 1st time with no probs at all, and nothing has changed. DBNNET: I tried that I dont know how many times laast night. I kept on getting the same IP using USB.

Thanks Proasm, ive downloaded that as well to have a look see wots goin on.
The call centre say my machine/tower was ghosting false connects or something??????
