e-tag beep

A taxi driver/owner doesn't even know there is internet, let alone myBB.
So this Venda boy is a disgrace to the Venda nation. He should go watch Muvhango.

Yeah, that's borderline racist dude.
There's no call for that here.

Which wouldn't be high in the first place if you didn't let him work you up :p
lol it's not him that works me up... it's the gravy brigade... and there's no escaping that lot sadly.

I'm not lying. Ask anyone who uses the roads regularly. Traffic is no better than it was before.

The surface is horrible in the rain. Seriously - the water forms a sort of film over it - you can't see road lines or anything - and the amount of spray kicked up by tyres is horrendous. There are also little pools and puddles everywhere. Last time I drove down the N1 south there were periods of 20 seconds at a time where the car in the lane next to me was driving through standing water so bad I could not see out my windscreen.
This.

The roads were a lot better then than now.

How is that racist?

I wouldn't say better, but certainly there's been no improvement in the rain. In dry weather it is better though, and the smoother surface has reduced road noise.

The surface wasn't deteriorating at the rate it is now, that's for sure.

I thought the "beep" in the thread title was there to blank out a cuss word! :D

The taxpayer will still pay as all the flippin government vehicles are e-tagged. The state should not fill his own pockets on taxpayers behalf.

End of the day, we all make choices , but if you just want to be a keyboard ninja its fine.

If you dont want to pay, go and stay at WC or other proviences or go to NZ.

3 years ago? I don't think traffic has grown that much in 3 years, do you?
If traffic hadn't grown then the extra lanes should have made a difference, no? Is traffic any less on the 5 lane sections of the M1/N1 (those stretch off for a quote a while)?

Its often been proven that adding more lanes to a highway does not necessarily improve traffic congestion.
