It's free for taxis. So nothing is free, except if you drive a taxi, in which case you must pay more so that taxis don't have to :/

F it, if it comes down to it then I'll "borrow" a taxis plates and use it whenever I need to use the toll road. This is what they've reduced us to.

I'm not lying. Ask anyone who uses the roads regularly. Traffic is no better than it was before.

The surface is horrible in the rain. Seriously - the water forms a sort of film over it - you can't see road lines or anything - and the amount of spray kicked up by tyres is horrendous. There are also little pools and puddles everywhere. Last time I drove down the N1 south there were periods of 20 seconds at a time where the car in the lane next to me was driving through standing water so bad I could not see out my windscreen.
