Not sure if anyone else has come across this, but you are almost signing your life away by purchasing an e-tag, as you are bound to the Terms & Conditions set out by SANRAL, which are scary, draconian, one-sided, and can be changed at SANRAL's whim.

So driving on the highway today I noticed the prices of the gantries. As phoneJunky pointed out we charge for each gantry we pass so where did the per km story come from? Anyway, I thought light vehicles were going to get charged R1 something but it turns out it's like R2,45. Where are the exact prices for gantries?

I went to the Sanral site and found this

It seems different gantries have different prices, plus they seem a bit hire then what I saw on the road (so what's advertised on the road excludes vat?)
