On Thursday or Friday last week I noticed I where before my accounts were balanced at zero, an account balance has been brought forward for my ZAR (R1.99) and TFSA accounts (93c). My TFSA allotment for the year has all been used up so I guess the 93c has to stay there until next financial year.
Does anyone know where these account balances come from because all my settings are set to automatically reinvest any dividends?
That was one of the first things I did but it didn't help. I'd like to believe EE is the Santa of money but I don't think I'm that lucky.Check your transaction lists at the bottom....it could be a clue
hi there, i'm new to this stock trading thing.
i've bought shares in sasol, how does the dividends thing work? when does that come into play and at what frequency?
it looks like every 6 months although i see the last dividend was 03/2019, nothing since. So you'll have to wait for September.Dividend History |
The dividend is declared and paid out in Rand for the holders of ordinary shares. For investors in the depositary receipt (ADR) on the NYSE, the dividends are paid out in US dollars. Sasol declares dividends semi-annually in March and September respectively.www.sasol.com
You expecting Sasol to pay any dividends soon?hi there, i'm new to this stock trading thing.

I see that now, thought it was 2020. Seems they haven't been paying dividends recently and probably won't for a long while now.it looks like every 6 months although i see the last dividend was 03/2019, nothing since.
That's because Sasol was in trouble before the crash, yet people seem to buy it because they think it is this wonderful company and the crash was all the oil price's doing. Never mind all their failures and wasted money.it looks like every 6 months although i see the last dividend was 03/2019, nothing since.

Nope mine has been working fine , been few times it been slow but no other problemsHi guys
For the past week or so I have been unable to 'view holdings' (ie: the view that shows your current positions and profit/loss per share) on the ZAR investments tab.
All that appears is this EE graphic with a fault message "Houston we have a problem, our tech experts are working on it"
I can view this perfectly on the TFSA side, its just the ZAR side that has been a problem.
Has anyone else had a similar challenge on their end ?
