Easy Equities good or bad?

Anyone doing RA’s via EE? See the investment cost is low. Transaction charges “okish”. Any feedback would be appreciated.
 
any reason why my account overview performance summary is moving today. this morning it was -R1300, now it's -R2500? i thought jse only trade mon-fri. looks like ashanti gold is the culprit, was -1%, now -3%, on a saturday.

just checked again this morning (sunday), now it's +4%, i thought stocks are closed over weekends. not complaining, just curious as to what is happening.

Hi Bud, I had a similar 'no response' problem a few weeks ago and proceeded to shout them out on Twitter - the problem was resolved that same day.
 
This weekend I tried to figure out how any fund are charged (the fees)?

I assume its getting deducted from dividends that pays out

Have a couple questions want to buy USD shares on the Easy Equities platform:

1. How long does it take to transfers Rands to dollars in the account, i did it the weekend checked now still not reflecting.
2. There is a share i want to purchase luckin coffee on NYSE but i dont see it on the EE USD companies available, is there another local platform i can use to purchase non local shares.

Found : https://robinhood.com/us/en/ but unfortunately not for our country :(

1. I've transferred using EE before but can't remember... I think it takes 2-4 business days?

2. Luckin coffee is on the NASDAQ? I think that's different from the NYSE but may be completely wrong.

More importantly... is there something you know about Luckin coffee that we don't? :unsure:

Hi you are correct for number 2 it is NASDAQ, that was my bad

i have a feeling for every $3-5 you invest you can get a return of $1 + to me that is a good investment short term
But have a feeling share might drop again and then start rising again.

This is just my own speculation at this point.

Others might have their own viewpoints.

Interactive brokers is the other option for SA. But if your portfolio is less than $100 000 there is a $10/month fee which is waived if you have made $10 in commissions that month.
