If Bitcoin farts that whole thing is going to need a nappy. 79%. Like an index with naspers in it.
I feel like bitcoin carries them all tbh. From my narrow perspective, all the alts worth anything follow the bitcoin ups and downs.

That said, I am waiting for the pop before I buy back in :D

R85 was the buy-in if you're talking about EC10?

Is EE decent for buying US ETFs? I'm an expat so not sure if EasyFX will work for me, in which case swift transfers - which depending on cost I might not even end up doing.

Wanted to get a share or two, but seen here generally people saying don't get shares on EE.

Who says don't get shares on EE? EE is best for buying and holding as you don't pay any monthly fees. As for US ETFs they are probably better at them than individual shares of which they only have a fraction.

Ok cool, was just clarifying. Might have misunderstood some posts.

Hey Guys,

The Easy Equities support system is AIDS. I am trying to move my USD holdings to IB. Does anyone know what the "Free of Payment" or "Automated Customer Account Transfer Service" details are for EE that I can use in my IB account to instruct the transfer of my EE USD account holdings to IB?

As I understand it, you need to make the instruction to move the accounts on the receiving broker, which in this case is IB.

What’s IB?

PS,

If you ask EE for the DTC number they will give you the following.

DriveWealth
DTC Participant#0052
Account# xxxx-xxxx
Account Name

However that is not actually correct as the DTC participant for DriveWealth is 3856, they are actually using AXOS Clearing LLC which is 0052. This is all important when you move between US brokers.

Thinking if investing a large amount in an ETF on EE. Is there any limits on the amount with regards to withdrawal and deposits ? Think someone once mentioned R 15k ?

You'll have to submit proof of where your funds originated to increase your limits. :)
