Well, I personally have used both my Global account with a SWIFT payment and Shyft with ACH. Shyft reflects within a day or two. SWIFT takes longer but also works. Withdrew back to my Global Account with easeAnd deposits and withdrawals - is it straightforward to get your money in and out?
% differ for me but I am trying the above as well. China is going to take a while to come up.Agreed. I'm currently at 50% MSCI World, 25% MSCI China and 25% Sygnia 4IR.
Its more bank related than 3rd partyStrangely enough, EE seems to be the only FSP that pulls any debit order exactly on 1st. With most of the other FSP's, it is always 2nd. I wonder how it works.
I see but Coronation hardly ever executes DO on 1st but EE always does so not sure how that works. Same bank and same account for both in my case. Its more bank related than 3rd party
Example, I know for a fact no debit orders via FNB on a sunday
How easy was it transferring from your Global account to TDA?I withdrew to my Global Account at FNB so that I could move away from them to TDA.
Very easy. TDA gives you various methods to deposit so I just used their SWIFT details for global payment. Usually reflects within 2-3 daysHow easy was it transferring from your Global account to TDA?
What are their fees like?Very easy. TDA gives you various methods to deposit so I just used their SWIFT details for global payment. Usually reflects within 2-3 days

Not yet. Once they merge with Charles Schwab their parent company, they'll have fractionals for S&P500 companies. Personally, it's not that big a deal for me. The dividends that come in do make fractional shares but only dividends. I don't day trade, I invest and leave it for a long time so I do bigger amounts at a time. Can you buy fractional shares on TDA?
Don't know what the best is, but between FNB, easy equities, and the Shyft app, the Shyft app is the cheapest.Anyone here use forex services to send money from zar to usd? Which is the best, and what zar amount is recommended to exchange at at time.
Well work it out yourself. Will EE give you a better return than the unit trusts do?So I have been thinking ... I have another TFSA (unit trusts) ... with a monthly admin fee.
Mmmm, thinking to bring it all to EE
Good or bad idea ? (Total is roughly R140 000)

Agree, unit trusts shouldn't get less if you don't top it up.Well, in short I moved efts from a bank to EE because of a monthly fee. My primary TFSA is with EE. Slowly my UT gets smaller and smaller as I dont top it up any more...
So ja... a call to make to sell and get it to EE
