EE shows everything in rand values and not the number of shares. In the scenario mentioned you would sell shares worth R2000. You will be left with the current holding less the trade value in your EE portfolio.

so, it looks like there is a bug in the EE system and they are aware of it. It will take couple of weeks to resolve it. Meanwhile, one of their traders helped me over the phone and transaction went through.
 
I'm still not ready to invest with these guys.........my spider sense tingles.

They seem too cheap and the holding company has been making alot of profit.

They are solid been with them for really long now and no complaints
 
Think they just crossed the 100Mil mark for invested amounts. Holding company also runs a few other trading platforms ( I am actually running a demo on the EQ trader for GT247 now, and really loving it ;)

and oh yes - they are busy implementing their TFSA tonight. everything i hoped for and more :D

Well I had more issues with PSG and ABSA than I ever had on EE.


I can put money in and I can take money out without a single support query so I vouch for EasyEquities. Besides I have family members who used them since 2011

I registered but never traded, like adidas and minty above I'm not convinced yet. About your family whom used them since 2011, EasyEquities only launched late last year hence my objection when you said you have been with them for 'really long'.

Gt247 has been around for a long time.

You have registered but never used EE then your opinion regarding their validity and operation is useless.

I use them, I have actual experience using them. I can actually compare them to other brokers....


Hence why I said they are the bomb no need to be over scared.

The tax free savings account doesn't let you invest in shares. Is it not only ETF and unit trusts for now?
