Easy Equities good or bad?

If putting R1 in is a concern to forfeit a R25 fee .... Just saying.

I read how people complain about doing things, or jumping through hoops.

I watched all the thrive videos this morning and it took me 4 min to complete and get all "thrive certificates".

The reason why I asked ... Moving now accounts to save R25 to put R1 in ... (Well, everyone to their own). Then the new platform starts to ask a fee also ... and the loop just continue's
You understand systems/rules but don't seem to understand people. I think the non-financial reasons are flying over your head.

Peeps aren't looking to change because of a R1 deposit (that can easily be automated on the account holder side). They're looking to change because of the way EE carries out business.

LOL. Do I need to understand people if someone is trying to spoon feed them ?

Nothing is flying over my head. You know eB pretty well. Not even eB's guys are moering toys like this!

If EE wants to ask a fee for having an account, so let it be. Pretty much nothing if FOR FREE in life. You pay some how actually. As I always say, if you aint happy ... move along, or adapt!

Nothing is entirely for free - the costs are worked into the system - that's how a business works.

Explicit fees are better than hidden ones.

EE do need to work on the way they do things and communicate.
Ineffective communication makes people think they are dodgy / moving the goal posts / etc.

Of course, people would grumble a bit but say "Oh well."

This does remind me of this brilliant piece of marketing.

It really fills me with enthusiasm.

at the end of the day, one has to accept that a company can only exist if they make a profit. Granted, the transition was poorly handled and still liquid

All because of a certain (poorly communicated) decision this thread has received more action in the past 3 days than the last 3 months combined.

Never knew they had a costs page in the first place.

Except now they've become "that company".

The one that shows no monthly fee, no this fee, no that fee, yadda yadda. So you decide to try out the service and after a few months you get wacked with a charge outta nowhere (they clearly state no monthly platform fee).

Reminds me of when banks offer "completely free credit protection"... Except they try their hardest to not to mention that once you use over R5k on your CC, you get charged for this service.
