Its "CEO talk" man. We just don't get it.We all know it hasn't been a 'wonderful week of engagements'.
Come on man. At least be honest.

Right. What I'm wondering is if they just introduced the “net positive deposit to get to level 3” rule in November, so even if you have net positive deposits in October, you aren't getting to level 3 for one month. This would mean a lot of people end up paying one month of the Thrive fee before their level 3 status kicks in. That would be irritating, especially since they only told us about the importance of gaining Thrive levels after it was too late to do anything about November status.Yes I am because of a few referrals in Oct. the EE guys confirmed Thrive is updated once a month. I assume (a wild guess) it will be month end
700,000? What happened to the "over 800,000" mentioned recently? 100k disappear last week?
Those 100k are the "best investors on the platform... the ones who Thrive". They aren't busy with them. Just busy with the rest of us plebs.700,000? What happened to the "over 800,000" mentioned recently? 100k disappear last week?
You own all whole shares.
It’s only fractional shares they are custodians of and this will be the case anywhere that offers fractional shares.
Read properly. He literally says exactly that.
I was wondering about this.
In the twitter post the guy urges everyone to ask for share certificates from EE, but on the following web page they mention that shares are registered in the name of FWT Nominees with you noted as the beneficial owner.

Would you still be able to request a share certificate from EE?
"wHaT iS sO dIfFiCuLt To UnDeRsTaNd?"last week everything showed complete, this week they've changed the rules and its now incomplete.

Requests received before 2pm Monday to Friday, will be released from our ABSA bank account by 4pm. Requests received after 2pm Monday to Friday, as well as requests received on a weekend/public holiday, will be released the following business day.
Exceptionally surprised - took just under 4 hours and my bank account was credited with the full amount.Hoping to soon have my money back - with profit.
Every step of the way, there are fees ; even to the extent that they'll process the withdrawal within 1 business day, for a 0,2% charge.
Contradicts their note, above?
Prepared to wait a bit longer, regardless, as long as I get it back.
Was more of an experiment, anyway, to see how they operate/d - but like others, unhappy with the direction they're heading in.
The only answers to that you will be getting here are guesses at best.Exceptionally surprised - took just under 4 hours and my bank account was credited with the full amount.
Questions I now have :
1. If I'm able to close the EE account (now a NIL balance) to avoid the monthly fee, will I still get an IT3b / IT3c for Feb 2024 tax emailed to me ?
2. If I don't close the EE account - so I can log in next year to access the IT3b / IT3c online - will they try charging it each month with this new fee, as it's still active ?
If anyone here knows, otherwise will have to log a ticket etc. with them.
Just hope advice I get from whoever answers, turns out to be correct. The only answers to that you will be getting here are guesses at best.
Fire off the ticket. That's your best betJust hope advice I get from whoever answers, turns out to be correct.
Don't think amount will be material, but I definitely want those tax certs, one way or the other.
